Police arrested a man in connection with the mass shooting at a South Philadelphia bar on the July 4 weekend that injured eight people.
An arrest was made in connection with the mass shooting at a South Philly bar last weekend. Eight people were shot at 7 elements restaurant and bar at 11th and Washington Avenue on July 5. Officials say 43-year-old Michael Welton turned himself in to police. Authorities also say Welton was working as a security guard at the time of the shooting.
Concerned Grays Ferry residents said that the Ring camera video from the shooting, showing multiple people firing guns, was hard to watch.
