The man in the wheelchair died at the hospital, Miami Police said.
According to the BSOFR, one man suffered critical injuries, including a "traumatic leg amputation and a partially amputated arm." Meanwhile, the second person suffered a shoulder injury.
The crash happened just after 4 a.m. in the eastbound lanes between Palm and Star Islands. The motorcyclist was taken to the Ryder Trauma Center where he died.
A body lay on the ground at the accident site until the medical examiner's van arrived.
