Several horses and other animals have been rescued from flooded homes in Lake Station and Gary, Indiana, after the Deep River rose so high over the last few days that dozens of homes ended up completely surrounded by water.
A voluntary evacuation order has been issued in Lake Station, and at least 25 homes have followed officials' recommendation and gotten out.
