One person was killed and two others were injured in a crash during a police chase Tuesday morning on the South Side. Police said, around 2 a.m., officers investigating robberies near 55th and Pulaski saw two people, believed to be armed, getting into a black Lexus sedan.
According to witnesses, a white SUV struck the victim and continued northbound on Kedzie.
The Jeep collided with the bicyclist, who was traveling eastbound in the crosswalk on the south side of Ogden Avenue.
