Southwest Airlines said in a regulatory filing that Boeing expects to deliver 46 737-8 planes this year.
There are two flights available on April 8 that fly predicted to be in the direct path of the eclipse.
Some major U.S. airlines are struggling to cover higher costs for labor and other expenses.
The contract that took nearly three years to negotiate includes a 29% pay bump.
The Southwest agreement followed more than three years of bargaining.
