"You can beat this thing. It took me a hundred days to do it. Actually today is the 101st day!" Sgt. Vincente Remediz said.
Superintendents of the state's largest school districts are pushing back against a planned return to campus next month.
"COVID-19 requires school districts to be innovative and flexible as education is being reimagined around the globe," Dallas ISD said on Twitter.
At this point, it looks like Dallas ISD parents will have the option of sending their students back to school in the fall and school nurses are now having to prepare for a number of things.
Several North Texas school districts already planning for flexible options, in line with new guidance from the Texas Education Agency.
