Man charged in deadly Greater Grand Crossing shooting back in May

The incident happened following the last night of the Democratic National Convention with delegates, including Colorado Rep. Javier Mabrey and other attendees inside.
The commission will accept ideas from the public as well as work with schools and libraries about the process and encourage everyone to participate.
The victim was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center by Chicago fire crews in critical condition.
Chicago police say the shooting happened just after 3 a.m. in the 7500 block of South Kingston Avenue in the South Shore neighborhood.
Police say he had several bites on his body and that several dogs were found inside the apartment.
The Cook County Sheriff's Office identified Jordan Jose Ocampo, 44, as the person who removed laptops and other items from the State's Attorney's Office on July 22.
Police said on Aug 10, a pedestrian was struck while crossing the street around 4:11 a.m. in the northbound lanes of the 1300 block of South DuSable Lake Shore Drive.
Chicago police say the victims were walking on the sidewalk when shots were fired.
The ages of the victims range from 15 to 55.
Witnesses at both locations say he pulled out a silver handgun, demanded money, then fled the scene on foot.
The 15-year-old boy was charged with one felony count of armed robbery with a firearm.
The victim, between 35-40 years of age, was found with a gunshot wound to the abdomen.
Chicago police said their helicopter was monitoring the stolen car that crashed into a corner building.
The woman accused the team of "negligence and recklessness" and not enforcing its "No Firearms" policy, according to her lawyers.
