Chicago weekend shootings leave 6 killed, 27 hurt, police say

A witness told officers that they observed multiple males fleeing the scene after the shooting.
Chicago police said the two men, 33 and 42, were arguing when one of them pulled out a handgun.
The robberies happened in the Gresham and Longwood Manor neighborhoods.
In 2022, after turning to a local dealer and being advised that the vehicles would be a suitable alternative, the department encountered an issue with the vehicle's oil cooler that led to engine failures — each under 15,000 miles.
Police said the suspect was arrested around 9:43 p.m. in the 1400 block of North Rockwell Street, 20 minutes after the robbery.
The offenders entered and attempted to leave the scene but struck a post.
The robbery happened at Citibank in the 100 block of North Michigan Avenue just before 10 a.m. Monday.
Marcus Gilbert, 19, and a 15-year-old boy were charged in the shooting
One person was killed after a motorcycle and a truck collided.
Chicago police and fire crews responded to the scene, where the victim was found inside the apartment.
Marshal Shepherd, 19, was charged with two felony counts of attempted first-degree murder and one felony count of home invasion.
A 14-year-old girl and an 11-year-old boy were charged with felony intimidation.
The victim told officers a white sedan pulled up behind him, and a guy exited the car with a gun and took his money.
Jimier Williams, 25, and Jimmie Williams, 29, were charged with aggravated battery with discharge of a firearm and attempted first-degree murder.
