Hometown Heroes - The Lo-Down - 7/14/16

Jason and Ken host the show while Damien is out. The guys talked about last night's ESPYs and if athlete's have, if any, responsiblities to talk about social problems. In the second hour of the show the guys talk to Clay Sigg about his baseball book and they debate which sports record they would like to see broken in the future. In the final hour of the show Jason and Ken talk about "super teams" in the NBA and finish off the show as always with "And 1."

Who's The Next Boring Star - The Lo-Down - 7/12/16

The guys are filling in for Grant Napear again. The show starts with the guys talking about the MLB All-Star game and the posssiblity of the 49ers playing a regular season game in China in 2018. In hour two of the show the guys talk to Michael Scotto about the NBA offseason. In hour three of the show the guys talk about Tim Duncan's retirement and who might be the replacement as the next "boring superstar." In the last hour of the show the guys talk to Larry Pepe about the future and the UFC and Jason Kidd talking about his nightmares for not joining the Spurs in 2003.

Duncan Says Goodbye - The Lo-Down - 7/11/16

Damien and Jason fill in for Grant Napear and start thee hour talking about the UFC sale and Tim Duncan's retirement. In the second hour of the Lo-Down the guys talk about Kings trade rumors and the MLB all-star festivities. In the third hour the guys talk to Bill Schoening, the voice of the Spurs, and talk about ranking Tim Duncan with the greatest players of all time. In the final hour of the show the guys talk about what the biggest "What if's" are in sports history.

BBQ Fun - The Lo-Down - 7/8/16

In the first hour the show starts out in the parking lot of KHTK studios for a BBQ for the listeners where the guys talk about the changes to UFC and other sports stories, and finish with Jason Jones talking about Kings Summer League. In the second hour of The Lo-Down the guys have an extra long 3 The Hard Way. In the final hour of the Lo-Down Sam Amick joins the show to talk about the NBA offseason and they end the hour talking about the events in Dallas last night.

5 Things: Springer Into Summer, Cleveland Wins And Tampa Bay Losses

Every week of MLB action has special moments, and some are historic. Teams win, and teams lose—and baseball fans all over the country watch with fascination and horror at what unfolds on the big diamond. Last week, for example, Cleveland couldn't lose, and Tampa Bay couldn't win. A player named Springer had a huge inning to get summer rolling, and the New York Yankees kind of remembered they're the New York Yankees.
