NYPD officials gave a briefing after officers responding to a call of a possible burglary in Brooklyn shot a suspect with a gun.
Police responded at around 1:30 p.m. to a building at Lewis Avenue and Hancock Street.
Police said they found seven bullet casings at the scene overnight in Cypress Hills.
