Two men were shot in the incident at 67th Street and Blackstone Avenue.
Police said in each of the incidents, the victim legally parked her vehicle on the street, and when they returned, the vehicle was missing.
They all happened in daylight hours starting on March 20, when the victim parked her car legally on the street and then returned to find the car missing.
Chicago police said just after 10:30 p.m., the victim was found inside a first-floor apartment, in the 6500 block of South Greenwood Avenue, with a gunshot wound to her face.
Circumstances surrounding the incident are being investigated by Area 1 detectives.
