The feds also argued jurors will hear evidence Kelly is "capable of inflicting violence," which might affect their impartiality if they are aware their names will be public.
Indicted singer R. Kelly is seeking to be released to home confinement and electronic monitoring at his condo in the South Loop.

Kelly, 53, has been held at the Metropolitan Correctional Center since his arrest on federal charges in Chicago and New York last July.
