"I know, in the absence of parades, we still want to find ways to honor and celebrate those who have given their lives while serving this country, again in a safe and socially-distanced way," Dr. Ngozi Ezike said Friday.

A woman tested in a state-run drive through location told CBS 2 she waited and waited for her results, calling repeatedly to check on them only to hear a large number of tests are gone.
"Phase 3 permits all gatherings, not just essential ones, of 10 people or fewer. That means if you want to go enjoy a picnic in the park or walk with nine other people, you can. Just remember to wear a mask or face covering one social distancing cannot be maintained."
Since the start of the pandemic, Illinois has had 98,030 confirmed virus cases, and 4,379 deaths.
