The incident began when police responded to a call of a person wanted for an aggravated battery

Xavier E. Walker and a 17-year-old boy from Chicago were placed into custody.
The driver was a 26-year-old man from Illinois, who was taken to a Chicago correctional facility and will be extradited to Indiana.
An ambulance was seen taking a man with his head wrapped away from the scene.

Across the region, many drivers took the risk amid the heavy downpours.
After nearly a week, rescue teams have recovered a body matching the description of a missing swimmer in Lake Michigan.
