Northern Michigan man headed to trial for impersonating emergency responder

The fire happened in the early morning hours of April 10 and reportedly caused extensive damage to the home.
Four other people were taken to a hospital with varying degrees of injuries.
Srecko Darnell Walker, 35, of Muskegon, was sentenced to 32 years in prison.
Slotkin is a former CIA officer who worked in national security roles in the Pentagon during the Bush and Obama administrations.
The company says the layoffs are not related to tariffs. The layoffs are effective April 14.
If convicted, Jordan Love faces up to nine years in prison.
Edward Redding was also arraigned Tuesday in federal court on one count of felon in possession of a firearm.
Through a joint effort with the Australian Federal Police, a 28-year-old male teacher from Australia was identified as the suspect.

Jose Montoya, who lives in the Grand Rapids, Michigan area, was sentenced Monday to 292 months in prison for creating and collecting child pornography.
Edward Redding has been charged with one count of felon in possession of a firearm.
Plum Hollow Market, a grocery store in Southfield, appears to be a total loss after an early morning fire.
It's the first time the insect has been seen in the Port Huron area since November 2021, officials said.
Damages to the building and contents lost are estimated at $700,000.
