Chicago man charged with attempted murder McKinley Park shooting

The driver of a two-door gray-in-color 2007 Chevy Cobalt struck a 65-year-old pedestrian - leaving them seriously hurt, according to police.

The pedestrian was standing outside of their car following a previous crash when they were struck by a passing vehicle.
While attempting to back into position to block the right lane, the squad vehicle was struck by a Jeep Wrangler.
Jerry Mufid, 20, was arrested by police around 5:35 p.m. on Saturday in the 0-100 block of West Illinois Street.
