Armed robbery at U.S. Bank in Niles prompts FBI investigation
The robbery led to schools in the area being placed on lockdown while officers searched the area.

A 17-year-old boy suffered a single gunshot wound to the right calf, and a 15-year-old boy was shot in the rear.
Chicago police said five men removed the security gate and front door of the station before entering and taking an ATM with an unknown amount of money inside.
The fire happened just before 6 a.m. on the fourth floor of the apartment in the 7800 block of S. South Shore Drive, fire officials said
Victor Bradford, 30, was arrested by the Area 1 Homicide Investigation Support Team on Monday in the 9400 block of South May Street in the Brainerd neighborhood.

The commission will accept ideas from the public as well as work with schools and libraries about the process and encourage everyone to participate.
The victim was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center by Chicago fire crews in critical condition.

Witnesses at both locations say he pulled out a silver handgun, demanded money, then fled the scene on foot.
