Man fatally stabbed by group on Chicago's Southwest Side
According to the Chicago Department, a 23-year-old man got into a fight with a woman he knew in the 4300 block of South California Avenue just after 11:15 p.m.

According to the Chicago Department, a 23-year-old man got into a fight with a woman he knew in the 4300 block of South California Avenue just after 11:15 p.m.
The suspected shooter, identified as 35-year-old Mathew Moy, was taken into custody, and a weapon was recovered, police confirmed.
Police arrested the driver of the sedan. Police said citations will be issued.
Chicago police said the man pulled out a gun and shot both women.
The dog was taken to an emergency vet hospital in fair condition.
The victim was taken to Northwestern Hospital with injuries to his right arm.
The 13-year-old suspected shooter was taken into custody about two hours later in Richton Park after a brief pursuit, police said.
Evergreen Park police said a stolen car caused a major crash near a shopping center on 95th Street. The driver of the stolen car died.
Police said the driver remained at the scene when officers arrived.
The victim was taken to Mt. Sinai Hospital, where he was listed in good condition.
CPD said the vehicle did not stop, and a pursuit began.
The team says the estimated $650 million project will be privately funded.
Seven teenage boys were wounded in a drive-by shooting during a post-prom gathering.
No arrests have been made in either shooting.
Police said the group shattered the front driver's side windows of two parked cars.
