Chicago First Alert Weather: A little cooler
According to CBS 2 Chief Meteorologist Albert Ramon, a gusty west wind on Wednesday will decrease humidity levels slightly, otherwise expect a mostly sunny day with highs near 90 degrees.

Albert Ramon is the chief meteorologist for CBS News Chicago. Albert joined the First Alert Weather Team in October 2021.
Before coming to CBS, Albert was chief meteorologist at the News Nation Network based in Chicago. While at the network, he covered landfalling hurricanes, blizzards, wildfires and tornado outbreaks for the entire country.
Albert also spent more than a decade at KVUE-TV in Austin, Texas, where he served as chief meteorologist. While in Austin, Albert won two regional Emmy Awards and several Associated Press Awards, including for Best Weathercast.
Before Austin, Albert also worked in Corpus Christi, Texas, at the CBS affiliate, where he also served as a chief meteorologist.
Albert holds degrees in Broadcast Meteorology from Mississippi State University and in Communication/Media Studies from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi.
Albert has earned Seals of Approval from both the American Meteorological Society and the National Weather Association.

Shower chances will slowly decrease through the evening hours.
Rain and storms will be likely for Friday, starting in the pre-dawn hours and lasting through Friday evening.
A breezy northeast wind is creating dangerous currents at the lake.
It will be mostly clear, dry, and nice Tuesday night with lows in the mid to upper 60s.
There were some evening showers and thunderstorms that caused damage in the north suburbs late Monday, but chances for rain started to disappear after sunset.
Rain chances come to an end by mid-evening on Friday
A few rumbles of thunder will also be possible.
The National Weather Service said a line of severe thunderstorms was spotted from Woodstock to Herbert around 7:10 p.m., heading southeast at 30 mph.
The storm is creating 60 mph wind gusts and could cause damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
A sprinkle or shower in the evening.

Clear skies tonight with temperatures in the 70s and 80s this evening.
Sunny skies for Wednesday afternoon with highs ranging from mid 80s in the western suburbs, to mid 70s near the lake.
