"I think we will have a terrific turnout," said New Hampshire Democratic chair Ray Buckley. "It will certainly be higher than any other state in the entire nominating process. But there's no indication we'll match or be near 2008."
Biden said he is confident in how he is doing in New Hampshire and nationally.
According to estimates from the Iowa Democratic Party and CBS News, Buttigieg received 14 delegates, Sanders 12, Warren 8, Biden 6 and Klobuchar 1.
Sanders said President Trump and Leader Mitch McConnell were "ready to go on day one" with Federalist Society-approved "right-wing" judges.
The former South Bend mayor defended himself against criticism from Sanders over donors to his campaign.
The primary race in New Hampshire remains fluid before voters go to the polls Tuesday. Only 39% of likely voters say they've definitely made up their minds.
Sanders said Buttigieg's roster of donors is "precisely the problem with American politics."
Democratic candidates tackled questions about their plans for the Supreme Court, including whether they would impose a litmus test on abortion for prospective nominees.
Seven Democrats were on state in New Hampshire for the eighth debate, where they discussed a range of issues.
Seven of the remaining 11 Democratic contenders still in the presidential race will debate at St. Anselm University.
After "gut punch" in Iowa, a longtime senior adviser is being elevated to a higher position inside the campaign.
"If you went back eight years and told me that one of the leading issues in a presidential campaign would be drugs, I would have said, 'you've got to be kidding,'" said Peter Evers, CEO of Riverbend Community Health.
"I like Pete Buttigieg. Nice guy," Sanders said. "But we are in a moment where billionaires control not only our economy but our political life. I'm reading some headlines from newspapers about Pete Buttigieg."
