Kings Fall Short Against Warriors, 103-94

The Sacramento Kings were unable to stop their slide without DeMarcus Cousins, losing to the Golden State Warriors 103-94 Saturday night at Sleep Train Arena. Sacramento turned in one of the better efforts this year against the defending champs, limiting Golden State to just eight three-pointers on thirty-nine attempts, with Steph Curry connecting on just 2 of 10 from long range. Curry also committed six turnovers, but still finished with a game-high 24 points.

Kings Fizzle Out Vs. Rockets, 116-110

The Sacramento Kings continued to struggle in their third game without All-Star DeMarcus Cousins, falling at home to the Houston Rockets, 116-110. James Harden's 43 points paced the Rockets(3-3), 17 of which came in a second quarter that left the Rockets with an 11-point halftime advantage. Harden also chipped in a game-high 13 assists and made 13-of-16 from the foul line. Clint Capela had a career-high 13 points, 12 rebounds, and 4 blocks for the Houston. Former King Marcus Thornton scored 16 points in his return to Sacramento.
