The hospital will stay open as an acute care facility while the issues are being resolved.
Judge orders temporary injunction to halt Delaware County Memorial Hospital's closure
It's unclear if anyone was in the home at the time of the fire.
The parent company, Prospect Medical Holdings, plans to close the hospital and convert it to an outpatient behavioral health center.
CBS3 has learned this appears to have all started with a fight during the work day.

The crash happened around 1:30 p.m. on Friday at MacDade Boulevard and Morris Avenue.
The school administration sent out a letter to parents Wednesday night about the incident.
The high school and Prospect Park Police Department are investigating a verbal threat involving the use of a weapon.
The Chrysanthemum Festival runs until Nov. 13.
The entire facility will be open by June of 2024.
Officials say the complex will create new jobs and pour millions of tourist dollars into the community.
The accident also impacts access to Radnor Elementary, Radnor High School and Archbishop Carroll High School.
It was designed to resemble the Google headquarters.
Friday Night Lights at Haverford High School's football field looked a little bit different this week.
Evans served 41 years in prison for first-degree murder.
"I've been playing with a cast and a club," senior Sam Milligan said.
Police said the 15-year-old boy was arrested on five separate incidents at the end of the September.
Officials say a group of teenagers created panic along Darby and Manoa Roads, attacking and beating victims.
Police say there is no threat to the school or students at the this time.

CBS Philadelphia spoke with one parent whose son was attacked. In that incident, it was 10 teens on one.
Last week, Crozer Keystone Health System announced the closure of the facility.
Fanta Bility was shot and killed by police while leaving a football game at Academy Park High School last year.
