The district and the committee chair confirmed the decision Thursday, after residents noticed a district website no longer lists meetings dates and locations.
Buses will run on a two-hour delayed schedule for both school districts.
North Texas' two largest school districts, along with others, have cancelled classes for Thursday, Feb. 24, due to freezing temps and wintery precipitation.
The new location is 12 miles from where the meetings were before, in a different part of the city.
More than 400 students were given college acceptance letters from Paul Quinn College, a private Historically Black College and University in Dallas.
The plan is for 15 teams from Fort Worth ISD to compete in the league starting in March.
The Fort Worth ISD is closing all campuses and district offices on Thursday and Friday, February 3-4 due to anticipated inclement weather.
