Daniel Jones, 30, was shot in the head about 4:45 p.m. in the 3900 block of West Washington Street.

The most recent fatal shooting was around 9:30 p.m. Saturday, when 36-year-old Kennyone Pendelton was shot several times in the 4600 block of West Jackson Boulevard, in the Austin neighborhood, according to police and the Cook County Medical Examiner's office.
