Someone kicked in the door of Gunzo's Hockey Headquarters, 1501 W. Madison Ave., at about 2:10 a.m. and took Blackhawks merchandise and money from the cash register, according to Chicago Police.
A Near West Side man killed a dog earlier this month by repeatedly picking the animal up by its legs and dropping it on its head, according to Chicago Police.
Six people were shot across Chicago from about midnight into early Friday, including four wounded in separate attacks within 25 minutes of each other.

About 9:25 p.m., a 20-year-old man was shot to death in the West Side Austin neighborhood, police said. The man was standing in the parking lot of a gas station in the 300 block of South Cicero when another male walked up and shot him in the head, according to Chicago Police.
Authorities responded about 11:05 p.m. to the roof collapse at the two-story vacant warehouse in the 300 block of North Carpenter Street, according to Chicago Police.
The homicide happened shortly after 1 a.m. in Logan Square on the Northwest Side. Isaac Acevedo Jr., 23, was sitting in a vehicle near Schubert and Central Park when another vehicle pulled alongside and someone inside fired shots at him, according to Chicago Police and the Cook County medical examiner's office.
About 10:10 p.m., the man was standing in the 2400 block of West Van Buren when someone got out of a gray car and fired shots, striking the man in his abdomen and leg, police said. The shooter then got back in the car and drove off onto I-290.
A 20-year-old man was fatally shot early Saturday on the Near West Side, police said.
