Johnson says he's excited to join leaders in Springfield and quote "discuss how we can invest in people to lift up all of our communities."
When asked what advice she had for incoming Mayor Brandon Johnson, Lightfoot said – to some laughs - "Don't screw it up."
"We will also work together to build on the crucial work of the Attorney General's Organized Retail Crime Task Force and improve collaborations to protect consumers and prioritize environmental justice initiatives."
They talked about everything from growing the state and local economy, to job creation and helping small businesses.
