Late Tuesday night, someone driving erratically near 73rd and Ashland hit another car, causing it to swerve into New Generation Harvest Church.
Police said Dominique Bishop-Smith left four children – ages 11, 7, 4, and 1 – home alone on Sunday afternoon.
Police would not say if the parents would face any charges, or if the boy has been returned to their custody.

Police said, in each of the robberies, someone lured the victims to locations on the Southwest Side by placing an item for sale on Facebook. When the victims arrived, two armed robbers stole their property at gunpoint.

The ages of the victims range from 19 to 54.
Police said a group of three to four armed robbers held up rideshare drivers at least seven times between Dec. 3 and Dec. 24 as the drivers were either dropping off or picking up passengers.
