Attorney Ben Crump kicked off Friday's news conference, saying that he hopes those who lost their homes to the wildfire get fair compensation, according to what they are comfortable with.
The Los Angeles City Council approved a resolution on Friday involving the LA28 Olympic Committee Chair Casey Wasserman and his association with the Epstein files, saying that as a leader, he should represent the Olympic movement's values of "integrity, accountability and respect for all people."
"Knowingly making a false statement to collect workers' compensation benefits is textbook fraud, and we are filing charges against anyone who engages in it — employees, medical providers, attorneys, or any other participants in the schemes," LA District Attorney Nathan Hochman said.
At River Drive and Filmore Street in Bell, the driver pulled into a driveway, got out of the car, and went into a house. CHP officers and the city of Bell police officers surrounded the home, waiting for the suspect to come out.

Verdugo Fire said the driver remained in the truck until power lines were secured, and he was removed safely without injuries from the lines.

Across the board, fee increases will apply to all commercial for-hire vehicles, jumping to $12 for each pick-up and each drop-off in the more congested Central Terminal Area, where the Tom Bradley International Terminal is located.
