Driver airlifted to hospital after crashing into Walmart Supercenter in Algonquin

Preliminary investigations indicated that a red sedan was traveling at a high rate of speed north on the rear access road for Algonquin Commons.
It happened around 11:15 p.m. in the 8600 block of South Vincennes Avenue.
The robberies happened in the evening and morning hours in the 6300 block of South Ashland Avenue on Aug. 10 and Sept. 1-2.
Police say the suspect stabbed one passenger and battered another in two separate incidents on CTA Red Line trains.
A white Nissan sedan struck the pedestrian, who died at the scene.
Chicago police said around 2:13 a.m., a 29-year-old man self-transported to the University of Chicago Medical Center after being shot in the 10500 block of South Cottage Grove in the Roseland neighborhood.
The ages of the victims range from 17 to 39.
Police said the suspect approached the victim while on the platform and took headphones from the victim's head by the use of force.
Investigators say just before midnight, deputies arrived at the scene on Dilleys Road just south of Wadsworth Road for a report of a person down.
Chicago police say a 21-year-old man was driving northbound on Caldwell when he lost control of his car and struck a tree.
The crash happened around 12:15 a.m. at the Heart of the Lamb Outreach Ministries in the 200 block of East 79th Street.
They also said the game's name influenced the purchase, as his birthday is 7-7-77.
In one case, the suspects used a chain, and in another, they entered the business through the roof.
Chicago police said the 34-year-old victim was standing on the sidewalk just before 10:30 p.m. in the 2600 block of North Milwaukee Avenue when someone got out of a vehicle and fired shots at him.
Chicago police say two men, 39 and 42, were standing in the street when someone approached and fired gunshots — striking the victims.
