Woman critically hurt after being struck by SUV in West Side hit-and-run

The trooper was inside the squad car, which was parked on the left shoulder with its emergency lights activated when a Saturn Vue hit its rear.
He was charged with two felony counts of aggravated vehicular hijacking with a firearm.
The Cook County Medical Examiner's Office identified her as 16-year-old Kaylah Aleah Love. The
Theon Mitchell, 26, appeared in first appearance court Thursday morning.
