Smash-and-grab thieves target Foot Locker store on South Side

Chicago police said the victim was driving when he was involved in a traffic crash. Then, another car not involved pulled up, and someone got out and shot the victim.
The wrong-way driver died at the scene. The second driver was taken to the hospital in serious condition, state police said.
At least four people were killed and 19 others were wounded in shootings across Chicago during the weekend, according to police.
