Chicago police say that a 32-year-old man was taken to the hospital with gunshot wounds to both legs.
A man was shot and killed, and the suspected shooter was in turn shot by Chicago police, on Monday night in Chicago's Uptown neighborhood.

Police said the victim suffered cuts to his neck and the left side of his body and was taken to Stroger Hospital in fair condition.
Chicago police said the woman was inside the residence when another woman she knew approached her, and a fight ensued.
The ages of the victims range from 16 to 52.
According to the alderman's office, Sigcho-Lopez and his three children were asleep inside the home at the time.
The victim was found at the Hard Rock Casino off Burr Street, where they had driven to get help. Police said the shooting did not happen at the casino.
Riverdale police said the three family members who were inside the home at the time of the incident were placed into custody. No charges have been filed as of Wednesday.
A federal agent and a Chicago police officer shot two people during a "firearms trafficking operation" in Country Club Hills on Tuesday night. After the operation, five people were taken into custody.
