Four people, including three members of a family, died in a fire in Chicago's Austin neighborhood early Thursday morning. The fourth victim was found Friday.
Police confirmed a 32-year-old officer is in critical condition.
A fire department source said the shooter was a lifeguard who was fixing a bike before he sprang up and began shooting.
Officers took a man into custody, and charges are pending.
