Principal, school staffers arrested in child grooming case, police say

Two educators and a principal are facing felony charges.
In addition to agriculture, the contamination threatens the county's drinking water, its county judge said.
All suspects were charged with two counts of engaging in organized criminal activity, a third-degree felony.
Collin County District Attorney Greg Willis said the judge's sentence will ensure "this predator will spend the rest of his life behind bars."

The announcement of the arrest comes one day after police disclosed the arrest of a North Texas water polo coach.
The incident occurred near Windmill Farms Boulevard and Reeder Road, where Brown Middle School is located.
Postal service officials announced the reward in a news release on Thursday.
The private club terminated the coach from his position shortly after the allegations were made, police said.
The shooting near East Loop 820 shortly after 6:30 p.m. on Jan. 27 was captured on the victim's dash cam video.
This marked the first execution in Texas in 2025 and the second in the U.S. There are three other executions scheduled this year in Texas.
The incident occurred around 3 a.m. on July 31, 2023, at a home in the 4500 block of Merida Avenue.
