A police shooting involving one suspect caused a 210 Freeway closure of its westbound lanes in the San Fernando Valley on Tuesday.
The crash happened at around 10:05 p.m. near the McDonald's at the intersection of Sherman Way and Sepulveda Boulevard, police said.
The fire was reported at around 8:50 p.m. on Monday in a tunnel that runs underneath the 110 Freeway near Wilmington.
Firefighters said that one of the drivers was detained at the scene by bystanders before being taken to a nearby hospital in unknown condition.
It happened just before 6:15 a.m. at a home in the 2400 block of Strathmore Avenue in Rosemead, according to a news release from the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.
The 26-year-old man was ordered to remain behind bars in lieu of $1.4 million bail and is due back in court on June 8 after pleading not guilty to the alleged kidnapping and sexual assault of a UCLA student in March and the alleged rape of a woman in Culver City in October 2025.
