Los Angeles County deputies arrested one person and seized approximately $4 million in stolen cargo during a search warrant last week.

In a news release shared Friday, LASD officials said that while serving a search warrant in Vernon, deputies investigating stolen cargo freight recovered the missing goods that affected eight companies.

"The stolen cargo freight recovered included nicotine pouches, televisions, shoes, printers, data center cooling equipment, speakers, and skin care cosmetics," deputies said. "The companies impacted include ALP Drifter Nicotine, Footlocker, Espon, Deepcool AI, Renkus-Heinz and Medicube Ulta Beauty."

One person, who hasn't yet been identified, was arrested and booked on charges of receiving stolen property. Deputies said that the case would be presented to the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office for review.

Anyone who knows more was asked to contact LASD's Major Crimes Bureau Cargo Criminal Apprehension Team Detectives at 562-347-1261.
