Police were called to the 12900 block of Willard Street, just near the 170 Freeway and Roscoe Boulevard, at around 4:40 p.m. on Saturday after a female victim was found in the area suffering from major head trauma, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
It happened at around 11:30 a.m. on the Columbia Avenue off-ramp of southbound lanes of the freeway, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A woman had to have part of her right arm amputated after she was attacked by two dogs over the weekend in Riverside County.
It happened at around 8:15 p.m. at Alburtis Avenue and 207th Street, according to LASD deputies.
The shooting happened just after 2:30 p.m. on Sunday near the intersection of Fullerton Road and Colima Road, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.
Investigators say that the body is unrelated to the boaters who went missing last week.
