49ers Team Grades: S.F. Comes Up Just Short At Home Against Seattle, Fires Baalke And Kelly Afterward

It was a turbulent final weekend of the 2016 NFL season for the San Francisco 49ers, as rumors circulated about the fates of General Manager Trent Baalke and Head Coach Chip Kelly. Don't forget the actual final game of the season itself, though, as the 49ers lost to the Seattle Seahawks, 25-23, at home on the Levi's Stadium field. It was another tough loss for the undermanned but game San Francisco squad, as it squandered an early 14-3 lead to lose by a touchdown or less for the fifth time this season. The 49ers finished the year with a 2-14 mark, tying the worst record in franchise history previously set three times.

49ers Week 17 Injury Report: Offensive Line Banged Up For Season Finale Against Seattle

The San Francisco 49ers enter the final weekend of the 2016 NFL regular season with a few injury concerns, but with three injured offensive linemen, the offensive game plan for the Seattle Seahawks at Levi's Stadium on Sunday could be compromised. Center Marcus Martin and guard Andrew Tiller have been ruled out, while tackle Joe Staley is listed as questionable for the Week 17 matchup against the NFC West Division champions.

49ers Team Grades: Kaepernick Leads S.F. To Big Comeback Win Against Rams

The 2016 San Francisco 49ers finally rose off the mat to win and break their 13-game losing streak, and they have quarterback Colin Kaepernick to thank for it. Trailing by 14 in the final quarter on the road in Los Angeles against the Rams, Kaepernick led the 49ers on two long scoring drives to secure the 22-21 win. With the victory, San Francisco assured itself of at least a two-win season, avoiding the fate of becoming the first team in franchise history to win just once.
