The New York State Thruway Authority accuses contractors of installing dozens of faulty cables on the Mario Cuomo Bridge in a multimillion dollar lawsuit.

This includes two system-wide hikes of 5 percent and raising the toll on the Gov. Mario Cuomo Bridge by 50 cents per year for four years. That would raise the current price of $5.75 to $7.75 by 2027. CBS2's Dick Brennan reports.
On Monday, a bipartisan group of lawmakers prevented the bill from being held in the Transportation Committee. This will allow it to move to the floor of the Assembly for a vote.
