A gas station clerk was shot and killed Tuesday at a Shell gas mini-mart in the Mid-City area of Los Angeles during an apparent robbery, authorities said.

Te incident was reported a little before 6:10 p.m. in the 6100 block of Palm Avenue
The campus officer was stabbed to death while inside his truck. The suspect was later shot by police.
A deputy on patrol saw the pickup truck parked on Long Beach Boulevard and saw the body in the driver's seat, with the engine running. The man was declared dead at the scene.
Gunshots erupted in front of King Tut Liquor at about 11 p.m. Thursday. Alize Ross, 20, of Fontana was declared dead at the scene.
Officers tried to perform CPR and use a defibrillator on the victim, before he was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
When officers arrived, they found a man with multiple gunshot wounds to his upper body. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Officers who were sent out to investigate a crash reported at about 2:30 a.m. in the area of West Sepulved Street and North Cabrillo Avenue in San Pedro soon got more information – the crash also involved a shooting.
It was around 5:30 p.m. when police say a 17-year-old gunman opened fire on 30-year-old Beshou Soliman.
Police allege Herman Levi Little of Berkeley showed up at his tenant's apartment ready to murder him, armed with a handgun equipped with a silencer.
"Most people in this profession would think it's not true, but it sounds like that's the case," said a Fontana police officer.
Francisco Penado, Jr., 44, of Long Beach was killed Saturday evening at Compton College following what police believe was a case of road rage.
The shooting may have been a gang-related attack by another man with whom he had been arguing, police said. No description was released of the gunman, who remains at large, but he may have driven off in a black vehicle.
