The total number of cases reported since the pandemic began is now 57,635.
On Wednesday, the county reported 510 new cases and 33 deaths, bringing countywide totals to 290,486 cases and 6,944 deaths.
The move back into the purple tier means that some businesses that were allowed to reopen – like movie theaters, gyms and dining rooms – will have to close again.
