A script supervisor who was standing next to cinematographer Halyna Hutchins when she was fatally shot with a prop weapon fired by actor Alec Baldwin on the set of the film "Rust" sued the movie's producers Wednesday, alleging widespread negligence and claiming the scene Baldwin was rehearsing never called for him to fire the weapon.
The 60-year-old actor appeared on comedian Marc Maron's "WTF" podcast Monday where he called the tragedy "insane" and "infuriating."
The chief lighting technician for the film "Rust" sued the movie's producers and other crew members Wednesday, including actor/producer Alec Baldwin, alleging on-set negligence that led to the fatal shooting of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins with a bullet fired by Baldwin from a prop weapon.
"We're gonna switch over to rubber guns, and we're gonna take care of it in post, we're not gonna worry about the dollars, we won't worry about what it costs."
