Latino homeowners make up the majority of the neighborhood. They saw their tax bills skyrocket an average of 46% late last year.
For months, CBS 2 has been tracking skyrocketing property taxes in Pilsen. Homeowners are demanding relief. On Wednesday, we learned some families are seeing a break, but most living there said it's still not enough. CBS 2's Andrew Ramos had the story.

Congregants from New Hope Church Pilsen, 1809 S. Racine Ave., walked to the nearby Bethel Temple Assembly of God, 1450 W. 19th St., for a joint Sunday morning service.
The sanctuary at New Hope Church Pilsen is full. The church is housing around 20 asylum seekers – offering them shelter, food, and clothing.
"They've already given us clothes. We're eating well."
CBS 2's Mugo Odigwe reports earlier this week, more migrants arrived in Chicago, adding to the 8,000 already here since August.
There are at least 70 migrants living in a repurposed warehouse. All of them came from police stations.
Just two days after Chicago's mayor issued an emergency declaration in response to the number of migrants entering the city, at least one police station housing new arrivals has cleared out. Dozens of people, including children, who were staying at the District 12 station moved into a warehouse turned into an emergency shelter.
Some residents say they've seen property taxes double in recent years, and organizers say it's time to take a stand.
In each incident, multiple people have come up to drivers with guns drawn, and have robbed the drivers of cars and personal property.
