According to Metra, delays of up to 45 minutes are expected on the Milwaukee District North, North Central Service, Union Pacific Northwest, and Milwaukee District West lines.
Sunday passes are $7 dollars and are good for unlimited travel.
Regular weekend service on other lines will continue as well.
Metra riders on the South Side will soon see some major improvements.
Metra says it's adding trains to its BNSF line, as well as UP North, Northwest, and West lines.
Metra and CTA are offering some added rides to make sure people can easily get there.
The deal applies to the Metra Union Pacific North line train.
