The single-vehicle crash happened at 7:25 p.m. on Lake Shore Drive near Sheridan Road, said police News Affairs Officer Ronald Gaines, citing preliminary information. A 33-year-old woman sitting in the passenger seat was ejected from the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene.
