A person of interest is in custody for the weekend's most recent homicide, which happened about 4:30 a.m. Sunday in the South Side Calumet Heights neighborhood.
Most recently, a 25-year-old woman sitting in a car about 11:55 p.m. parked in the 8100 block of South Elizabeth in Auburn Gresham on the South Side was shot in the hand and ankle by someone who pulled up in a silver SUV, according to Chicago Police.
A 33-year-old man was discovered shot to death about 2:15 a.m. in the East Garfield Park neighborhood on the West Side.
Most recently, a man was found shot to death in the North Lawndale neighborhood on the Southwest Side, police said.
A 68-year-old man was gunned down at 10:06 a.m. in the Bronzeville neighborhood on the South Side, police said.
