Jason Kidd, the 19-year veteran who helped lead the Dallas Mavericks to the 2011 NBA title, has retired from the NBA.

Jason Kidd, the 19-year veteran who helped lead the Dallas Mavericks to the 2011 NBA title, has retired from the NBA.
"There's a lot of different stuff I may have the opportunity to do," Kidd said. "If I play, I plan on playing for the Knicks. I got to be honest with myself. I'm a young man. (But) I got to see if I could still mentally do the grind all over again."
Anthony first hurt his left shoulder on April 14 against the Pacers. Now it seems he played the entire playoff run -- 12 games -- with a partially torn labrum.
