Three Fort Worth firefighters were injured fighting a house fire on Monday night, one of them seriously, MedStar said.

First responders are using Narcan, a drug that reverses the effects of a drug overdose, more than ever before.
Data from the fire department says drug overdose calls where first responders used Narcan went up 23% from 2022 to 2023. Firefighters say fentanyl use has also increased.
The plan would allow MedStar paramedics, dispatchers and employees to become part of the fire department, based on the need for the position.
