"I had great mentorship and role models in my education who opened up a field that I did not even know existed until I took a college course in health psychology," said Dr. Jamie Becker.
Tina Wasserman encourages others to pursue a master's degree "if it will enhance your business or intellectual acumen."
"The biggest reward from earning my master's was the sense of accomplishment I had when it was completed," says Darcy Wessinger, Senior Director of the Heart Center at Children's Health.
"[Earning my master's degree] was a transformative experience for me that ultimately set me on the path to become an entrepreneur," says Julia Cheek, CEO of Everly Wellness Inc.
"An MBA has opened a lot of doors for me both as a consultant and an entrepreneur," says Jack Hooper.
In September, over 26,000 non-farm jobs were added. 224,8000 positions have been added within the year from September 2014 to September 2015.
"The biggest reward (beside the experience and the friendships that I formed with my cohort members) was gaining knowledge and confidence as a critical thinker in a field of highly intelligent and capable leaders," says Major Max Geron.
"The benefit of being able to see solutions to business problems through the eyes of finance, manufacturing, accounting, operations and R&D's eyes gave me better tools to manage my business," says John McNamara.
"I believe earning my master's degree will provide me with the advanced knowledge and skills necessary to build on everything I have learned over the past four years working with my students," says Elizabeth Burrus.
There are definitely some hurdles, especially if you've been out of school for a while, but it's really shaken things up for Jennifer Bristol in a good way.
"The biggest reward is being invited into someone's life and having the opportunity to positively impact the trajectory of their future," says Dr. Meredith Chapman.
