High-speed police pursuit in Claremont ends in a crash after suspect loses control on freeway off-ramp

Authorities said the suspect's car flew off the freeway exit and landed in the parking lot of a Norms restaurant.
When officers arrived, they found the man in the water with "no obvious trauma."
Ventura County Sheriff Jim Fryhoff said the woman has been identified as 22-year-old Maricela Rocha Parga, who was four months pregnant at the time of her death.
It took firefighters over three hours to extinguish flames at the vacant restaurant.
A truck parked nearby sank into the road when the street suddenly opened up.
