Deputies say the crash happened at around 11:07 p.m. Thursday on Baldwin Avenue and Rundell Avenue.
The child was taken to an area hospital, where they later passed away.
The person was pronounced dead at the scene.
Todd Edward McIntyre, 28, of Novi, is charged with one count of embezzlement.
